After the 0-0 draw against Napoli, Antonio Candreva analysed the game in an interview with Premium Sport:

Is Inter on the way up again? “We have to evaluate that after a couple of more games. This was a positive test, but we are a bit disappointed that we could not bring home a win. We were lacking a bit of confidence, tranquillity and security.”

Could the counter attacks have ended up differently? “We knew we had to be good at not losing the ball when we had conquered it.”

Milan is back in the UCL race? “That does not interest us, we have to think of ourselves. It is all up to us if we want to qualify to the UCL or not.”

What do you have to say about Spalletti’s words after the game? “He says that to encourage us. Until a few months ago we were up there with the big teams. We know we have the quality, but the coach gives us a punch in order to make us do better during practices and games.”

Do you have the confidence to get to the UCL? “We have to be optimistic, it is only up to us if we want to reach this objective or not.”

Few deliveries to Icardi? “We can not think about what one person can do more or less, we are a team and it has to be the team that gives him the opportunities to score.”

How is it that you have lost so many points against middle to lower teams? “Maybe there is less attention against such teams. But now we can not allow ourselves to make more mistakes, because we started the season off with a bit of a bonus.”
