The Inter Captain returns to action tonight after more than a month of abscence.

Mauro Icardi is ready return to the pitch. The Inter Captain, who has been out of the action since January 31st, will lead Inter tonight in the most important match against Napoli tonight at the Stadio San Siro. An important clash and a chance to turn this season around anc continue to dream of next year’s Uefa Champions League and a chance for Maurito to reach 100 Serie A goals (he currently stands at 99). In the meanwhile, his name keeps on drawing interest from the biggest clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and PSG. All of them attracted by the 110 million euro buy-out clause that, looking at the current market situation, seems to be a good deal for a 25-year old striker that already has proven himself in one of the biggest leagues in Europe.

Tuttosport explains: “Inter Sporting Director, Piero Ausilio, has already reached out to the entourage of Icardi in order to get the renewal process started. The objective is to raise his salary to 7 million euros (Wanda of course wants more) and most of all take away the buy-out clause or at least raise it to 160 million. Both parties are in contact, but we still need to wait a bit in order for them to arrive at some kind of solution. And who knows what happens if Inter remains in the UCL zone in the standings, should they qualify for UCL it will most likely be easier to keep Icardi”.
