Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport believe that despite a solid showing against Napoli, Marcelo Brozovic will be dropped to the bench for this weekend’s tie away to Sampdoria.

Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is expected to replace the Croatian with Matias Vecino, who was an unused substitute during the Napoli game last weekend as Inter held the Partenopei to a 0-0 draw at San Siro.

Inter Predicted Starting XI for Sampdoria (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Joao Cancelo, Milan Skriniar, Miranda, Danilo D’Ambrosio; Roberto Gagliardini, Matias Vecino; Antonio Candreva, Rafinha, Ivan Perisic; Mauro Icardi.

Tuttosport on the other hand believe that Spalletti will stick with the same side. They do however suggest that if Spalletti is to make a change to the lineup, Borja Valero could come in and replace Rafinha. At the moment however it is head to head between the two players as to who will be granted the starting berth for Sunday lunchtime’s fixture in Genoa.
