Racing Club president Victor Blanco has revealed some of the key details of the deal that will see Lautaro Martinez depart the Argentine team for Inter in the summer transfer window.

“The only number we know of the transaction is that, without taxes, it is 27 million [Argentine] dollars plus 10% of a future sale.

“We did not want to sell Lautaro Martinez and we talked many times with his agent [about trying to keep him at the club],” he also revealed in the interview with Radio Continental.

Meanwhile, Racingdealma.com report that there will be a €110 million release clause inserted in the young striker’s Nerazzurri contract.

They further report that Martinez opted for a switch to Inter over other interested parties such as Borussia Dortmund due to the tactical project that the Nerazzurri have in mind for years to come that involves a Martinez-Mauro Icardi striking partnership.

This season, Martinez has exploded on to the scene, scoring 13 goals in 15 games and assisting four.
