Kwadwo Asamoah is set to join Inter according to a report from Turin based news outlet Tuttosport.

“Unless Juventus decides to make a last ditch attempt to extend his contract with the side, Asamoah will settle with their rivals Inter,” they detail.

The Ghanaian defender has been linked with the Nerazzurri for a number of months and looks likely to be the second player that Inter will land on a free transfer in the summer alongside Lazio central defender Stefan de Vrij.

Inter had also considered Domenico Criscito but the Zenit St Petersburg player seems destined to return to Genoa, Tuttosport also report.

“Criscito in recent months has come out in the open, declaring his experience at Zenit in St. Petersburg is finished. The Nerazzurri had tried to persuade the player to join their project but Criscito has decided to make a choice of heart and he will return to Genoa.”
