Only one thing needs done in order for Inter to complete the deal that will see Stefan de Vrij join on a free transfer in the summer according to reports circulating in the media today.
Tuttosport report that all that is left before the move can be confirmed is for the relevant documents to be exchanged between all the parties involved.
Inter and de Vrij’s representatives have been in continuous talks over a transfer since de Vrij decided that his future would be elsewhere and not in the Italian capital with Lazio.
The Dutch defender is expected to sign a long term contract with Inter and will form half of what Inter hope will be a formidable partnership in defence with Milan Skriniar for years to come.
This season, the 26-year-old has made no less than 36 appearances in all competitions for the Aquile, playing almost every minute of Lazio’s season so far.
