Torino president Urbano Cairo shared his delight with the recent success they have had since changing their manager following their second straight victory after a four game losing streak.

“We are doing well and on the right path now. After a change on the bench, it is normal that there is a period of adjustment, in which you can start well and then you have some difficulty, just look at what is happening to Udinese for example,” Cairo told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Despite playing host to Inter this coming Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, Cairo remains upbeat about the situation the Granata currently find themselves in.

“I have great confidence in the team and in the coach, we hope to continue like this even if Sunday’s game with Inter will be a difficult one.”

Sunday’s game pits 10th place against 4th place and is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 local time.
