On Sunday, Inter will meet their former manager Walter Mazzarri’s Torino side who continued their good form as they defeated Crotone 4-1.

The President of the Granata, Urbano Cairo, spoke to Gazzetta Dello Sport after their win and looked ahead to Sunday against the Nerazzurri: “We did well today, and now we are on the right path. It is always difficult to adjust after a change in manager. Like Udinese, we saw immediate improvement but then we found ourselves in difficulty once again. It will be tough against Inter on Sunday, but I have great confidence in our players and our coach.”

Torino began the season with former Inter player Sinisia Mihajlovic at the helm, but he was replaced in January with Walter Mazzarri after a string of poor results. Since the Italian took over, Il Toro have won five games, drawn two and lost four.

They currently find themselves sitting 10th in the Serie A, five points behind Fiorentina in 9th and nine points away from Europa League qualification.
