Over the course of the weekend, Inter’s scouts watched a number of players within Serie A according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter had scouts present at the Genoese derby between Sampdoria and Genoa on Saturday night at the two clubs shared home, Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The scouts were there watching Lucas Torreira in particular, whose situation remains the same as it did in the January mercato; he has a €25 million release clause and will not leave La Samp unless that is triggered.

The Nerazzurri’s scouts were also at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi as Hellas Verona played host to Cagliari yesterday. Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella was the player that Inter’s men were keeping tabs upon but acquiring him in the summer transfer window will not be easy by any means. Inter are ready to spend between €18-20 million on the young midfielder but Cagliari are instead looking to gain €35-40 million from his sale.
