Inter’s Portuguese international full-back Joao Cancelo stopped by Inter TV to analyze the impressive 4-0 win in the Serie A against Cagliari at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

The former Valencia player began by talking about his goal stating that: “I am very happy for my first goal in an inter shirt and especially for the performance of the team. We created a lot and conceded nothing to Cagliari. We work throughout the week to be able to play these kinds of matches. In the past few matches we have done well but we have been unable to score. This is why we continue to work hard.”

When Cancelo was reminded that his last goal was when he played for Valencia he replied: “Yes, it was a shot like many others. I am still very fond of the Spanish club because they allowed me to affirm myself. In the second half I tried shooting from outside the area, evidently I need to train more.

“If I score or if a teammate scores is really the same thing, the only thing that matters is the win. Now many difficult matches await us, matches that we have to take home in order to achieve our objective of qualifying for the Champions League” Cancelo concluded.
