Inter legend Evaristo Beccalossi was full of praise for Inter youngster Yann Karamoh after the 19-year-old’s performance in the 4-0 win over Cagliari on Tuesday night.

“He creates things and with him on the pitch people always think something could happen. His greatest asset is his speed but he is also technically sound but when it comes to finishing chances he is still a bit limited,” Beccalossi, who played for Inter between 1978–1984, told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Beccalossi then admitted he was surprised at how well Karamoh fit in in other areas of the pitch.

“I was particularly struck by his ability to fit in, even centrally as seen when he get on the end of D’Ambrosio’s cross and hit the crossbar. Inter have missed there being a few midfielders who will throw themselves into these spaces.”

Karamoh has made a total of 12 first team appearances this season, 10 of which from the bench and scored one goal in the process.
