Roberto Gagliardini underwent tests today to reveal the extent of the injury that forced him off during Inter’s 4-0 win over Cagliari on Tuesday night.

Through way of a statement posted on the official club website, Inter confirmed that the Italian midfielder has suffered a hamstring injury.

“Roberto Gagliardini underwent an MRI scan this morning at the Istituto clinico Humanitas in Rozzano after he went off in the first half of the match against Cagliari. The tests revealed damage to the player’s semimembranosus muscle in his right hamstring. His condition will continue to be evaluated week by week.”
