Inter officials are today meeting with UEFA in Nyon, Switzerland to discuss the current financial fair play situation they find themselves in Gazzetta dello Sport detail.

“The expedition to Switzerland will be attended by Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello , Chief Financial Officer Tim Williams, Chief Strategy Officer Michael Williamson and Chief Communications officer Robert Faulker.

“UEFA will ask how Inter came to produce the budget in question and the final response to European football’s governing body will arrive in May, at the end of the season. With the financial statements presented by Inter, the outstanding €14 million fine will be frozen and there will therefore be no further penalty.”

Corriere della Sera meanwhile shone a light on Inter’s budget and insisted this summer will be much the same as last in terms of looking to raise as much as possible.

“With regard to the financial statements posted in June 2017, the management feels calm, with a small capital gain, obtained thanks to the transferable expenses (infrastructures, youth and women sectors). Inter will have to work to make ends meet again for the 2018 budget. As in the past year, in June they will have to work on sales and capital gains.”
