Inter winger Ivan Perisic has assured fans that he and his teammates will do everything in their power to make sure that Inter are playing Champions League football next season.
“Every game left is essential. We all want to reach our goal, the Champions League, and we will do everything to ensure qualification,” the Croatian is quoted as saying in the match day programme from Tuesday night’s 4-0 win over Cagliari.
“We are doing well, but we can still do better, we know each other better and, of course, game after game, our understanding increases, playing with our teammates, seeing each other every day and understanding what they can do is crucial.”
Perisic concluded the interview by speaking on his off the ball work.
“With the coach and the staff you always work hard so that the team always knows what to do in the field. The most important thing is to always help each area, in every moment of the match. This makes the difference if you want to win.”
