Speaking to Inter TV, Andrea Pinamonti discussed Inter’s upcoming Serie A match against Chievo. The Flying Donkeys come into the match just three points clear of the relegation zone but the young striker expects a challenging match at the Bentegodi despite their position in the table.
“It will be a difficult contest on Sunday, as each team is striving towards their own goals as we arrive at the end of the season. Chievo will be desperate for the points to save themselves from relegation, but we need them to return the club to the Champions League. It will be a hard fought race for the final spots, but we are sure we will be able to bring the result home in the end.”
It has been a tough season for the 18 year old, as he has struggled to find space in Luciano Spalletti’s side. The player has made only two appearances for the first team (one in the TIM Cup and one in Serie A).
