Yesterday afternoon, Roma took one step closer to securing an Uefa Champions League slot by crushing SPAL away from Olimpico. This makes today’s game for Inter, against Chievo Verona, even more important. With the Derby d’Italia coming up next week nothing but a win can keep Inter in the race for the 4th spot.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport talks about the case of Rafinha, who has had injury problems and had to end yesterday’s training session premature in order to see the physiotherapist. But CdS can not tell the Brazilians status: “In the Inter camp the Rafinha situation was not worrying last night, but due to the Brazilians history of knee problems there are still some doubts. But, Rafinha will be a starting player in a Spalletti 4-2-3-1 starting formation with Vecino probably playing instead of Borja Valero and Candreva probably playing instead of Karamoh, everybody else are confirmed.”

Here is the probable starting lineup according to CdS:

INTER (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; Cancelo, Skriniar, Miranda, D’Ambrosio; Vecino, Brozovic; Candreva, Rafinha, Perisic; Icardi.
