According to Tuttosport, Milan have made a late attempt to sign Juventus fullback Kwadwo Asamoah from under the noses of Inter.

The Nerazzurri have been linked with the Ghanaian full back for some time, and it has been strongly rumoured that the player will arrive in the blue side of Milan on a free transfer.

The newspaper further reports that Inter are not concerned about losing out on the player. Piero Ausilio has worked well to meet the demands of the player with both the length (three year) and the value of the contract. Another factor that aids the Nerazzurri is the close relationship of the club with Federico Pastorello – the agent of Asamoah.

Proof of the alliance between Inter and the agent is the decision by Ausilio to entrust Pastorello to manage the sale of Yuto Nagatomo, currently on loan at Galatasaray. Inter are hoping to recoup between €5 and €7 million from transfer, with strong interest from the Turkish club and also Real Betis. It is difficult to think that either party would do anything to jeopardise the bond.

Despite all this, Milan continues to push on the Ghanaian, with the belief that everything is possible until the deal is final. From the player’s point of view, a change would present no logistical problems as he has already purchased a home in Milan.
