This Saturday, Inter have one of the most important games this season when the Nerazzurri face off with Juventus in the Derby d’Italia.

Only four rounds remain of this season’s Serie A and Inter are still trailing the 4th Uefa Champions League spot which is currently held by Lazio, while Juventus has to defend their one-point lead against Napoli in the race for the 2017/2018 Serie A title.

The hype surrounding the ficture is obvious and something that can be seen by ticket sales. Italian daily sportsnewspaper Corriere dello Sport reveals that: “At the moment, 74 000 tickets are sold, only 4000 in different sectors at the stadio San Siro remain and shortly the game will be sold out. This is not all, the Derby d’Italia clash could also mean a new record in revenues for a Serie A game: The current record is from this season, but last year when Inter played the first Derby della Madonnina against city rivals AC Milan October 15th 2017.”
