A number of reports have today suggested Massimilliano Mirabelli’s position as sporting director at Inter’s city rivals Milan is under consideration.

As a result of the reports, Premium Sport have taken a look at people who could replace Mirabelli if he is to be removed from his position and their search has lead them to Walter Sabatini.

Sabatini is renowned for getting business done and unearthing some real gems on the transfer market with him playing a key role in discovering the likes of Javier Pastore and Marquinhos.

Only a matter of weeks ago, Walter Sabatini was aiding Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio with Inter’s transfer business but after a disagreement with owners Suning, the former Roma and Lazio director left his post as technical coordinator for the Chinese group which entailed him helping both Inter and their other club Jiangsu Suning.

The Italian was unable to replicate his past success at Inter due to the tight purse strings as a result of financial fair play and Chinese government restrictions.
