Inter are keen on entering the race for Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout according to a report from French news outlet Foot Sur 7.

Olympique Marseille and Olympique Lyon are both also understood to be keen on the 25-year-old, whose agent has revealed his desire to play in the Champions League and for the French national team. Veretout is regarded by Marseille as an ideal replacement for Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa who has attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides.

Veretout joined La Viola last summer in a €7 million deal from English Championship club Aston Villa. He has went on to make 35 appearances across all competitions this season. He has scored 10 goals and picked up two assists also.

It is unclear how much Fiorentina, who Veretout is under contract with until the end of the 2020/21 season, will command for him but Inter may be able to take advantage of their good relations with the Florence based club.
