In anticipation of Inter’s clash with Juventus at the San Siro, Nerazzurri midfielder Matias Vecino spoke about his expectations ahead of the clash to Inter TV.
The former Fiorentina midfielder predicted that “This will be an exciting and intense match. Both teams will be fighting for important victories. We must approach the game in the right way and start strong to bring home the result.”
The Uruguayan international went on to discuss the affection shown to the team by the Nerazzurri faithful: “No matter who our opponents were, they have always encouraged us and given us a great boost. This is especially true at the San Siro. They will give us extra motivation this week as it is such a special game for both them and us.”
Finally, the midfielder was asked about the mood in the Nerazzurri locker room: “The whole team is keen to give a great performance, and to gift our fans a wonderful victory.”
After returning to the field last week against Chievo, the midfielder is expected to start alongside Marcelo Brozovic tonight.
