Lazio’s Senad Lulic has insisted that he and his teammates must not throw away their hard work this season by thinking they have already qualified for the Champions League after Inter’s slip up at the weekend.

“Even before this match we had our [Champions League] destiny in our hands,” the Bosnian told Lazio Style Channel.

“We know if we win them all we will qualify. We have Atalanta, Crotone and then we have Inter. I believe we can make the Champions League and the whole team believes too. We have three games left and we have everything in our hands but nothing is concluded. We must not throw away all the work we have done this year and we will do everything to achieve our goal of making the Champions League.”

Inter’s loss at home to Juventus coupled with Lazio’s win over Torino created a four point gap between the two sides with nine points still to play for.
