Valencia have ignited an interest in Inter forward Eder according to reports circulating in Spain today.

The Spanish club, who will compete in next year’s Champions League, are looking to add experience across the park to help them fight on all fronts next term and the Italian striker fits the kind of player that they are looking for.

PlazaDeportiva report that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio could take advantage of Valencia’s interest in Eder and try and use Eder as part of a deal to keep Joao Cancelo at the San Siro. Otherwise, it is understood that Inter will accept an offer of around €5 million for the former Sampdoria man.

Eder arrived at Inter in January 2016 on an initial loan deal from Sampdoria before his stay was turned in to a permanent one. Since arriving, the 31-year-old has made a total of 85 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring 14 and assisting five.
