Borussia Dortmund are interested in taking Inter misfit Dalbert on loan for the following season, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri signed the left-back from Nice just last summer for a fee of €26 million, bonuses included, but are now looking to move him on after a disappointing campaign that has seen the Brazilian make just 14 appearances in all competitions.

Tuttosport report that new Dortmund boss Lucian Favre has identified Dalbert as one of the players he would like to sign this summer, having already coached him at Nice, and that talks between the two clubs have begun.

However there is currently thought to be distance between the parties regarding the formula of the deal, and thus there is no agreement imminent.

Dortmund would like to acquire the player on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, whereas Inter, who will need to pay Nice €26 million following their qualification for the Champions League, would prefer an obligation to buy.
