According to British tabloid The Mirror, Premier League outfit Manchester United are interested in signing Portuguese international fullback, Joao Cancelo, who is out on loan at Inter.

During yesterdays press conference, Inter manager, Luciano Spalletti admitted that Inter would not be able to redeem the players agreed clause of €35 million and that he would be returning to Spain to Valencia. Inter are not prepared to pay the €35 million price tag and Valencia will not budge even after completing the purchase of Inter’s Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are preparing a bid of £30 million, which could reach £34 million. Mourinho is looking to add reinforcements to his back line with Darmian possibly leaving the Red Devils this summer to join Juventus.

Joao Cancelo was a highlight in Inter’s lineup for the second half of the season after missing most of the first half of the season because of injury and depth at the right back position.
