Currently Rafinha is waiting for an answer from Inter and the reason for this is that Inter is the only team he wants to play for. This according to Corriere dello Sport who confirms the desire of Rafinha to remain in Milan also for the next season.

After being told that Inter could not activate his redemption before June, Rafinha told Inter management that he can wait until July in order to put some pressure on Barcelona. “A promise is a promise.” And Rafinha has every intention to respect what his deal with Inter, that means not to listen to the market or talk to any teams, at least until the 30th of June when Inter’s redemption clause expires.

“It is important for Inter to maintain good relations with Barcelona. After July 1st, Inter can move in a different direction without the need to get €40 million in order to balance the books. But it is still better to get another loan deal with obligatory redemption, maybe if Inter could raise the sum from €38 million (35 million + 3 million in bonuses)?”
