On a site specialized in sports marketing employment, an opening appeared for a “Managing Director” position at Inter appeared Tuttosport reports.

According to the report the position is to be filled in Both Nanjing and Shanghai where Inter has opened an office for their media house. Tuttosport report further that the announcement also included a statement from Suning CEO Zhang Jindong on what goals Suning have when it comes to Inter: “The acquisition of Inter is part of our development strategy in the sports industry. Growing internationally allow us to become a well-known brand in Europe and the world. China will become Inter’s second home and Suning’s investments will allow Inter to return its glory days.”

In the announcement Zhang stated the following regarding San Siro:”It is the home of Inter and one of the most famous and visited arenas in the world, every year 4 million tourists visit it.”

Tuttosport reports further that: “The managing director of Inter in China will have to develop the commercial strategy, acting as bridge between Suning and the headquarters of the club and his direct contact will be Alessandro Antonello. At the disposal of the new manager, more than 20 people will be available working on sponsorship deals, marketing, communication and the football academy. In general the goal of this new managerial figure will be to develop Inter’s business in China and to grow the brand.”
