Inter will be parting ways with Valencia’s Portuguese full-back for now. Inter will not be using their option to buy Cancelo for 35 million as this is the final day of the agreement between the two clubs.

According to Plaza Deportiva, Valencia will be seeking other options to come to a solution on what to do with the player. Valencia’s priority is to sell the right fullback for at least 45 million euros, by June 30.

If the Iberian club is unable to do so, there is a good chance that Valencia’s manager, Marcelino will be asking the player to stay with the club after gaining much needed experience in Italy.

Joao Cancelo did not feature much in  the beginning of Inter’s season due to injury and having a particularly crowded position at right back, but made his way into the starting lineup after the January transfer window.

He then showed his attacking flair in each match he played and helped Inter reach the Champions League.
