Milan Skriniar’s agent has revealed that his client has been subject to bids from “the five best clubs in the world” but insists that he and his client “are not in the position where we can ask Inter to let him go.”
“Milan is very happy at Inter: the fans love him and he has played an amazing season, where he stood out as one of the best defenders. We are not in the position where we can ask Inter to let him go. He has offers from the five best clubs in the world, but we have no intention to put pressure on Inter. Also Inter has offered us a very good contract renewal offer.”
The Slovakian defender arrived at the Nerazzurri last summer from Sampdoria and far exceeded any expectations anyone had of him. He is now regarded as one of the top young centre back’s not only in Europe but the world following a stellar season that saw him play every minute in Serie A.
