Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has been in direct contact with Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan over a possible summer transfer to the San Siro as per a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Spalletti wanted to sign Nainggolan last summer upon assuming the role of Inter manager but Roma refused to part ways with the Belgian. This summer though, they appear far more willing to sell him on – perhaps even more so following the arrival of Bryan Cristante yesterday. Cristante cost the Giallorossi somewhere between €25-30 million and it is understood that Inter could get Nainggolan for a similar price.

Inter are not alone in courting the former Cagliari man however. The Rome based newspaper report that Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande are ready to invest and do so heavily in order to acquire him but due to Chinese government restrictions on foreign spending a move to Inter is a more concrete looking option for now.
