Another busy day for Inter’s Technical Director Piero Ausilio. The Italian met with agent Davide Lippi to formalise the renewal of Nerazzurri goalkeeper Tommaso Berni, and to enquire further about the availability of Sassuolo forward Matteo Politano. The first team squad may appear to be the priority, but Ausilio does not stop there.

According to a report from Sky Sport, Inter are closely monitoring young players who may represent potential market opportunities.

The first is Jonathan Bamba, a 22 year-old midfielder from Saint Etienne whose contract with the French club expires next year. A similar profile to Yann Karamoh, whom the Nerazzurri signed from Caen last season.

The second player is Nicolas Gonzalez, Argentinos Juniors’s left-footed striker who, in Argentina, is compared to a young Paulo Dybala for his technical characteristics. The 20 year-old has an Italian passport and an agreement with the Nerazzurri who must now find an agreement with the club. The price is €10 million.
