Three of last season’s top four teams are in the race to sign Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, and those three teams are Inter, Juventus and Napoli. Chiesa has a contract with the Viola until 2022 and has recently renewed, but is this enough to keep the youngster in Florence?

Inter is a serious contender in the race for the 20 year-old and Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport explains the current situation: “Inter is currently working on a number of options, but if Bordeaux continue to ask for €50 million euros for Malcom then maybe it will be worth spending a little more in order to bring an undisputed talent to Milan.

“However, Inter will have to wait for July before they can sign the player while Juventus have already entered the race and intend to cross the finish line in the lead. The same goes for Napoli, who hope Chiesa will be a strong addition to Verdi.”
