Inter could be priced out of a deal to sign midfielder Mousa Dembele with Tottenham asking for €30 million to part company with the Belgian international, according to Tuttosport.

Dembele has made 232 appearances for the Premier League outfit since signing from Fulham in 2012 and is about to enter the final year of his contract, which at the moment is unlikely to be renewed.

Several clubs are interested in signing the 30 year-old and amongst those Inter currently seem the most interested, as they look to add experience and physicality to their midfield ahead of the 2018-19 season.

However Tuttosport believe that the Nerazzurri are unwilling to meet Spurs’s €30 million asking price, and informed the player’s entourage when they met in Milan on Wednesday.

Dembele’s agents also met with representatives from Napoli on their trip to Italy, but like Inter the Partenopei told them that they do not wish to spend the sum of money required.

Juventus could be the next Italian club to speak with them, but Dembele may end up not moving to Serie A at all after receiving a €35 million offer from an unnamed Chinese Super League club.
