Parma’s sporting director Daniele Faggiano has denied there is an agreement with Inter over the transfer of one of the Nerazzurri’s Primavera players while also confirming the Gialloblu club’s interest in Davide Santon.

“No, we have no agreement with Inter [over a young player]. They [Santon and Milan’s Luca Antonelli who has also been linked] are names of interesting players, however I did not do specific surveys. I have not met with them yet,” Faggiano revealed to Parmalive.com.

With regard to the as yet unnamed young player, Inter are in the process of selling off numerous youth prospects to help them in their bid to honour the settlement agreement reached with UEFA over financial fair play and it is understood that Parma are interested in taking one of Inter’s youngsters off their hands.

As for Santon, the Italian endured a difficult season and made just 15 appearances across all competitions. With just a year left on his current contract, Inter may look to cash in on him to avoid letting him go for free next summer.
