A summit between Steven Zhang Jr, Piero Ausilio and Giovanni Gardini has been held where the issue of capital gains before June 30th and the limitations on the Champions League squad imposed on Inter by UEFA were discussed Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

According to the report the Inter management “still has to raise the €45 million demanded by UEFA from player sales. This will be accomplished by selling some of the best Primavera players, but it seems inevitable not to sell a big name from the first squad. Both Eder and Candreva have drawn a lot of interest from abroad, mainly Spain, England and China, even though their transfer would not bring a lot of cash.

“Instead, there are the youngsters from the Primavera squad, who after yet another successful season, are players that could bring the cash that is needed. There are still no sales in place but many players are at a turning point: Radu and Valietti, two popular players, are close to Genoa, both worth €12 million with a right to re-buy the players. For Zaniolo, who is one of the most sought after players, Sassuolo is ready to invest €6 million but also newly promoted Parma are in the race. Pinamonti could stay in Italy with Roma and Genoa tracking him but there is also some attention from abroad. Finally, Inter met with Pescara to talk about Marco Carraro, a 20-year old midfielder who was in Abruzzo last season on a loan deal.”
