Inter have recorded a 30% increase in season ticket sales compared to this time last summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Next season the Nerazzurri will make their return to the UEFA Champions League after a six-year absence and fans have responded enthusiastically to the news, with 10,000 people already signed up to watch Luciano Spalletti’s side at San Siro.

Yesterday the club further expanded their season ticket campaign, which was launched in May, by publishing a stunning portrait in Monday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, created with the help of photographer Joan Garrigosa and featuring over 100 supporters, ranging from the age of 2 to 92.

The artwork is inspired by the Renaissance period and includes a tagline taken from Dante Alighieri’s fourteenth-century narrative poem The Divine Comedy – ‘see the stars again’ – and has been posted to all of the club’s social media accounts.

More than one million people came to watch Inter at San Siro during the 2017-18 season, with the club recording Serie A’s highest average attendance for the third season running.
