Despite having all but wrapped up the transfer for Roma’s Radja Nainggolan, Inter continue working on strengthening their central midfield for the upcoming season by relentlessly pressing for Tottenham’s Belgian International midfielder Mousa Dembele Sky Sport Italia reports.

According to the report Tottenham continue to ask for €30 million for the 30 year old but during yesterday’s dinner meeting between Inter and an intermediary involved in the negotiations the Nerazzurri reiterated their desire to bring Dembele to the Serie A.

The player is taking time to consider his options as he awaits a big money offer from China whilst Inter have offered him a solution that he is beginning to open up to, namely spending 1-2 years in Milano before being sold to Jiangsu in the Chinese Super League.

Dembele is reportedly considering this and has opened the door ever so slightly to this solution which has led to Inter becoming more confident that they can snap him up from Tottenham.
