Further confirmation of Yuto Nagatomo’s imminent Inter exit has arrived from yet more sources in Milan newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport and Turkish news outlet Sporsayfa.com.

Sky Sport transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio broke the news late last night that Inter and Galatasaray had struck an agreement over a €3 million transfer for the Japanese defender and both sources back this up.

Nagatomo is currently with the Japanese national team at the World Cup and while the move could – and will most likely – go through beforehand, Galatasaray will hold off from officially announcing his arrival until his involvement at the tournament in Russia is over. This is due to Galatasaray being a publicly listed company and having to give the Turkish stock market notice.

The Turkish outlet also report that the 31-year-old full back, who will be leaving Inter after over 200 appearances for the Nerazzurri, is to sign a 2 year contract with the Turkish Champions with an option of a third year.
