With many youngsters being moved on so that the club can comply with Financial Fair Play, Inter are also working to secure the players who will form the new Primavera squad. One name at the top of the list is Italian striker Andrea Adorante.

The player first joined Inter from Parma in 2015, and there were rumours that the Gialloblu were keen on a reunion, but Tuttomercatoweb report that the Nerazzurri have agreed a deal with Adorante that will keep him at the club until 2021.

Despite competing with the likes of Andrea Pinamonti, Facundo Collido and Jens Odgaard, the young Italian still made his mark in Stefano Vecchi’s championship winning squad. Used predominantly as a substitute, Adorante made 11 league appearances in all competitions, netting three goals at a rate of one every 133 minutes – impressive for a player in a new competition. He has also represented Italy at both U15 and U16 level.
