Inter Sporting Director, Piero Ausilio is considering a low cost move for 31 year old Italian/Brazilian midfielder, Romulo according to Calciomercato.com. The midfielder currently has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave for €1 million in the event that his club, Hellas Verona were relegated.

Hellas finished in 19th place this past season, thus allowing the contract to be triggered by another club. According to the report Inter could be considering this low cost transfer to reinforce the depth in their midfield as he would only cost €1 million, and an assumed contract of about €1 million net per season for 3 years would give the player no choice but to accept as he gets older. Romulo signed with Hellas Verona in 2014 and has appeared 64 times since officially signing and another 32 while on loan from Fiorentina. The box to box midfielder has scored 11 goals for during his time at Verona.
