According to the latest reports from various French sources, Inter are increasingly unlikely to reach an agreement with Bordeaux over the potential transfer of Brazilian winger Malcom.
Of course, the Nerazzurri are keen to sign the former Corinthians starlet on loan with option to buy, given their ongoing struggles to fall within UEFA’s Financial Fair Play parameters. However, the Ligue 1 side must cover their own €20 million deficit and are therefore highly unlikely to sell one of their prized assets without receiving most of the fee upfront.
For now, Les Girondins directors are playing a waiting game until after the FIFA World Cup, when they hope Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will come forward with a more financially advantageous offer for his services.
