Incoming and outgoing transfers are dominating the headlines, but the Inter management are also working to secure the components of the side that led them back to the UEFA Champions League.

A very important player for Inter’s future is Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar. The club are aware of the huge interest in the player from around Europe, and so they have met with the players agent, Karol Csonto, to discuss extending the center backs contract until the end of June 2023.

Speaking briefly to the press after leaving Inter’s headquarters in central Milano, Italian media outlet TMW reports that Csonto gave an optimistic response that will delight Inter fans around the world: “We will sign very soon.”

A new signing ahead of last season, Skriniar was a stalwart for Luciano Spalletti and his teammates. He made 38 appearances for his new club, playing every single minute of the Serie A season. Not only a brilliant defender, the player also demonstrated prowess in front of goal scoring four times for the Nerazzurri.
