According to the latest reports from Corriere dello Sport, Atlético Madrid right-back Šime Vrsaljko could leave the club during this summer’s transfer window. Indeed, he remains a target for Inter, having been on their radar for several years. The Nerazzurri are said to be working on a deal which would see him arrive on loan with obligation to buy.
However, La Beneamata will face competition for his signature, with Manchester United also said to be weighing up a move for the Croatia international. Vrsaljko would be the final addition to Luciano Spalletti’s defence, while Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta is also under consideration. Inter have not set a deadline for the addition of a new full-back, as signing one is not thought to be a priority at this moment in time.
