According to the latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have identified São Paulo central defender Éder Militão as a potential target for this summer’s transfer window.

The 20-year-old is also wanted by reigning Premier League champions Manchester City, so securing his signature will be no easy task. Indeed, sporting director Piero Ausilio has already spoken to several Serie A clubs about their willingness to let him gain experience of Italian football before making an eventual switch to the Nerazzurri.

Meanwhile, La Beneamata remain interested in Argentinos Juniors forward Nicolás González, but negotiations are unlikely to take off until he receives an Italian passport. Otherwise, Cagliari or Sassuolo will be required to register the player and keep him on their books until next summer when the situation will be revisited.

Either way, it seems as if Inter are taking a leaf out of Juventus’ book by planning ahead in conjunction with other Serie A outfits.
