Federico Pastorello confirmed Inter’s interest in Bordeaux winger Malcom but admitted that for now the move is on standby as Inter focus on meeting their financial fair play goal.

“I would be happy to confirm this deal [Malcom-Inter]. He is a player whom Inter like, I have talked to Ausilio, but I think that for now Inter are more focused on securing the capital gains that are needed by UEFA and only after that do I think they will pursue new faces,” Pastorello, who is an intermediary for the deal, told Domenica Sportiva.

Pastorello represents Inter winger Antonio Candreva and also confirmed that the Italian international’s is set for a new contract with the Nerazzurri that will be announced soon.

“I do not think his destiny can change, he wants to stay at Inter. His contract? We are at the final details stage. It will be announced soon, it will run until 2021.”
