Davide Santon and Nicolo Zaniolo are undergoing their Roma medical’s ahead of their move from Inter as part of a deal that sees Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan head the other way, the Giallorossi have confirmed.

Santon, 27 and Zaniolo, 18, are being used by Inter as makeweights in the deal for Nainggolan, who Roma were initially looking for €40 million for. Inter have instead sent the duo alongside €24 million their way to secure the Belgian, who is expected to have his Inter medical today.

Santon leaves Inter after nine years service, split over two spells and inclusive of his time in the Inter academy while Zaniolo leaves just a year after arriving from Virtus Entella.
