Tuttosport report that Inter’s owners Suning have given the green light to Inter’s transfer market team to pursue a loan deal for Bordeaux winger Malcom.

Due to Inter’s delicate financial fair play situation, an outright transfer is just not possible at the moment as is a loan with redemption obligation, which is also regarded as a purchase by European football’s governing body UEFA.

The way around this for Inter is to sign him on loan with a redemption option instead and recent reports have suggested an €8 million loan fee with a €32 million redemption option, which then in turn meets the French club’s evaluation of €40 million.

Malcom, 21, is under contact with Les Girondins until the end of the 2020/21 season and has also attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Last season he made a total of 38 appearances across all competitions where he scored 12 goals and delivered eight assists.
