The imminent arrival of Radja Nainggolan at Inter could have repercussions for Matias Vecino according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Uruguayan midfielder is likely to see a decrease in playing time once the Belgian arrives and is believed to be a transfer target for Chelsea, who appear set to announce Vecino’s former manager Maurizio Sarri as their new manager today.

As per the report, Inter value the 26-year-old, who only signed last summer, at €35 million, a figure that would greatly help Inter with their future endeavours in the transfer market.

The Rome based newspaper also report that developments are expected this week on the Davide Zappacosta front. While a swap deal with the Stamford Bridge club is possible, Inter would far rather cash in on Vecino. Alessandro Lucci, who represents both players concerned, is expected to meet with Chelsea’s hierarchy during the week in order to take stock of the current situation.
