Inter’s interest in AC Milan’s winger Suso is real and concrete, at least according to a report in today’s paper edition of Rome-based Corriere dello Sport.

According to the report, “Inter are eyeing Milan’s Spanish star, in addition to the Bordeaux and Sassuolo players to give to Spalletti as an alternative to Candreva who has already renewed and will stay. Yesterday afternoon during a transfer market summit which lasted a little under 3 hours at the Nerazurri headquarters, Inter listed their targets for three more positions: the right wing, centre midfield and a right back.”

Corriere reports furthermore that “The Tuscan tactician is intrigued by the thought of stealing Suso but everyone knows the negotiations will be difficult and a lot depends on UEFA’s ruling on the Rossoneri. However, discussions with his agent have already taken place so if Bordeaux continue to refuse Inter’s advances for Malcom and Sassuolo continue to demand a payment over Politano’s value, Inter will seriously make an attempt for Suso, who unfortunately has a €40 million release clause which is only valid for foreign clubs.”
