In addition to the big names such as Inter and Roma, newly-promoted Parma have been one of the most active sides on the summer transfer market. Sky Sports are reporting Daniele Faggiano, sporting director of the Gialloblu, has negotiated a deal with Inter for 30-year-old French winger Jonathan Biabiany.

The player returned to Italy after an unsuccessful spell at Sparta Prague and could be eager to move to Parma – a club where he enjoyed the most successful spell of his career, scoring 21 goals in 141 appearances.

The deal could also include Italian full-back Federico Dimarco the report goes on to state. Inter exercised their buy-back option on the player, who has returned from FC Sion in Switzerland. A left-sided defender and product of the Nerazzurri youth system, Dimarco may struggle to find space in the Nerazzurri squad who have added Kwadwo Asamoah and, so far, have been unable to find a suitable buyer for Brazilian full back, Dalbert.
